M.L. DEGREE COURSES:

The Tamil Nadu Dr. Ambedkar Law University through its Post-Graduate Department offers two year M.L. Degree Regular Programmes under CBCS pattern with internal assessment on the above specializations.

Intake and Reservation:
The number of students to be admitted in each branch of the M.L. Degree Course is limited to 20. For each of the branches, the reservation will be based on the State Reservation Policy.
Eligibility:

The general eligibility condition for admission to Master’s Programme is through formal education as per the UGC Regulations 2001.

No candidate shall be eligible for admission to a Master’s Degree Programme in any of the departments unless he/she has successfully completed a three year/five year under-graduate degree course in Law conducted by the University or equivalent thereto. Candidate should have obtained a minimum of 45% of marks under New Regulations [40% under Old Regulations]. Candidates who are awaiting results may also apply.

Course Structure &Duration:
M.L. Degree Course is offered at the University under CBCS pattern and is of two years duration. Each academic year is divided into 2 semesters (odd semester from July to November and even semester from December to April). Each semester consists of 90 working days. A semester normally extends over a period of 15 weeks, each week has 30 hours of instruction spread over a 5 day week. The semester pattern is designed with continuous assessment system.
